Prebenched Base
All newly built prebenched bases incorporate an engineered pipe to manhole connector. The boot-style gasket clamps onto the pipe, reducing infiltration and exfiltration. For ribbed pipe, a straight wall adapter is recommended to maintain the integrity of the seal.

Notes:

  1. Prebenched bases are made to order - please contact us for a schedule. Approved drawings or manhole order forms are required for manufacture.
  2. 813mm from invert to top of spigot except for 600mm concrete pipe - 1110mm height.
  3. Minimum 90 degrees between 600mm diameter pipes.
  4. Any prebenched manhole with four or more openings will be charged as a cul-de-sac manhole.
  5. All other prebenched manholes available with pipe openings in 45 degree increments only. Other angles accommodated through flexibility in connection of pipe with manhole or an oversized hole.
  6. Prebenched manhole bases come complete with rubber gasket for SDR 35 pipe.
  7. In areas with high groundwater, manhole gaskets and 2440mm high barrels are recommended.
  8. For items 150 PB to 600 PB Manhole order sheet required.
  9. Rough openings and cored hole prices available on request.
